Half cat! Russia x Blind! Reader

All seemed pretty quiet after a few moments of waiting on the front porch of Arthur's home, save for what sounded like some strange laughter. You could hear someone open the door and a loud sigh sounded right in front of you. A gentle hand pulled you inside and the strange laughter continued on, only louder.
"I'm glad that you're here, (y/n). I currently have a little bit of a problem with your, erm, surprise, as it is," said your British friend Arthur, sounding rather nervous. You tipped your head in confusion.
"Why are you telling me that the surprise you have for me is giving you trouble? Isn't it supposed to be a surprise until you are ready to reveal said surprise?" you interrogated of your friend. He only laughed, though it still sounded strained and stressed to your discerning ears. He finally stopped leading you around his house to the room where the laughing was strongest.
"Ivan, this is (y/n), (y/n), meet your surprise, Ivan," Arthur said, though his nervousness was still very clearly present in his voice. Why is he introducing you to someone who was a supposed surprise? Arthur had tried several times to hook you up with other guys he trusted to try and get you some more assistance around your home, but all attempts thus far had failed.
Arthur had tried the strict German, the shy Japanese, the excitable Italian twins, the personable yet motherly Chinese, the obnoxious American, and even the flirtatious Frenchman whom the Brit had a burning hatred for. THAT man had gone home with his head hung low and a slap mark covering his cheek because of his "friendly" tendencies. You were hoping that this attempt would at least be somewhat successful.
You held out a hand and greeted the man, saying, "Hello there Mr. Ivan, it's a pleasure to meet you." You waited patiently as the laughter stopped and there was a long pause. An awkward pause at that. You continued to hold out your hand for awhile, with no returning handshake. Confusion filled your body until there was a soft meow at your feet. Ivan was a cat?
"I thought you might like to take care of him for me because you li-" Poor Arthur never even got to finish his sentence before you squealed, scooping up the surprisingly heavy mass of fur and burying your face directly in it. You absolutely adored cats, and this was most certainly no exception. The cat's fur was thick and lush, feeling great on your skin. You could have held the cat to your face, relishing in the softness of their fur, for eternity, but Arthur decided to interrupt you by clearing his throat.
"I take it that you accept the little proposal I have given you then?" he asked, hopefulness in his tone of voice. You nodded exuberantly, a wide grin decorating your face. A sigh of relief quickly followed your confirmation and you were gently guided back to the door. Arthur wished you well, though you could tell he wanted you, or perhaps Ivan, out of the house as quickly as possible, claiming that he had a load of work to do that was to be handed in soon. You agreed to drop by later and give an update on how life with your new furry companion was going.
Once you reached your home, you sat down on the floor and held up Ivan to judge just how big of a cat he really was. Holding him straight out at shoulder level seemed to prove no problem for him, and you could tell that his back paws were firmly planted on the ground. So, he was a REALLY big cat. Maybe Ivan's breed was a Norwegian Forest Cat? You heard that they were pretty big cats and they tended to be very fluffy as well. You smiled widely at the feline you held in your arms, finally setting him down.
"Well Ivan, I can tell that you and I are going to be great friends! I'll take good care of you, don't you worry one little bit about that, okay?" you said sweetly. A soft but sweet meow gave you confirmation that Ivan had heard you. Your smiled widened and you scratched his chin gently, so happy to have a little friend in your life.

It had been six years since that day, and you were never happier in your life than when you had Ivan by your side. He was always such a sweetheart and was so protective of you that you weren't allowed to leave the house without your companion. He would trot along at your side obediently without the use of a leash or anything, just loyally staying by your side. It gave you a sense of security when Ivan was with you and he didn't seem obligated to leave your side at any time.
Even at home, he followed you everywhere. The only times he was not with you was when you showered, used the bathroom in general, or when you were changing in your room. But at moments like those, your feline guardian would sit outside the door, waiting for you to let him in the room with you. It touched you so much that he was taking up the role of your protector that you couldn't help but love the feline for all the things he did.
As you took a morning stroll through the park, Ivan the Guardian at your side as usual, you couldn't help but feel as though there was something ominous hanging over your head for whatever reason. You couldn't place your finger on it, but you just brushed it off, thinking it as just something that you had forgotten to do.
You decided to walk to a local cafe, thinking that perhaps a coffee or some hot chocolate would clear your head. Before you knew it, you were walking across the street, unaware of things around you. You couldn't feel Ivan at your side, so you nearly stopped, but kept walking.
"Where's the little kitty cat that I love?" you asked, half to yourself and half aloud to the area around you. Suddenly a horn from a car started blaring loudly, coming closer to you. Panic gripped you and you found yourself disoriented and confused, unable to move. A voice suddenly shouted your name and someone slammed into you, carrying you sideways off of your feet and out of the path of the car. The person twisted as you both fell, catching you on top of them, and then landing on their back with a grunt.
"Are you alright sunflower?" asked the man who had apparently caught you, his deep voice vibrating in his chest. You were too stunned to move, much less speak at what had just happened. You had nearly been hit by a car and this man had just saved you. You couldn't do anything but cry at the moment, burying your face into the man's heavy coat.
"Th-thank you for s-saving me," you choked out through your sobs. The man only chuckled and stroked your hair gently. It felt oddly comforting that he, someone you didn't know, was petting your head, but you didn't question it.
"What's your name?" you asked once your voice was stronger and your sobs had dissolved into sniffles and the occasional tear.
"Ivan Braginsky, but we are not really needing the introductions, da? You and I have met before and been together for the long time of six years. That British man accidentally summoned me through his magics and when he was trying to send me back home, he turned me into the cat that you took care of for six years." At this point, you had both gotten up, and Ivan was still holding you gently, yet tightly.
    "Arthur did that to you?"
"Da, but I do not mind it that much sunflower, because I got to meet you in the process of turning back into a human, is that not correct?" You supposed he was right about that. You were still spinning from the incident, and Ivan could clearly see that you were ready to go home.
"Let us go home, my sunflower." You didn't hesitate to let Ivan lead you back home to safety, a smile adorning your face. You two kept walking for a little while, while you kept smiling, your hand in his.
"Sunflower? Might I ask why you were not afraid of me when you first met me?" Ivan asked after some time, his voice shy, as if he was afraid of the answer you would give.
"That's easy, I always believe the best in people, and you are no exception to that Ivan. Besides, my hunch about you being sweet and caring was proved throughout the six years that I took care of you as a cat," you replied sweetly. A sudden heaviness filled the air and a familiarly chilling laugh sounded from Ivan.
"That is right, I had almost forgotten that I need to be giving Arthur some pay back for what he had done to me." Oh dear.

Okay, this one is out of the order, but I had a pretty good idea for Russia, so I really wanted to make sure that I got it down before I forgot it and tried to do something else. I hope you all like this one!
